First Choice Should Always Be Quality

By Tal Potishman

Many people are seeking to refurbish their homes in the current economic climate as a means of making their homes more marketable should they decide to move in the near future. Refurbishing seems like a good idea in an uncertain economic situation. The bathroom has always been seen as a vital selling point for homeowners and seems like a good place to start.

An increasingly popular item to have in the bathroom is the 'towel warmer'. However, some consumers do not take the quality of the towel warmer as seriously as they should. Consumers must remember that the towel warmer will be exposed to steam from showers and baths on a regular basis. Therefore, the quality of the radiator will be fundamental in being able to withstand such exposure.

Therefore, do not be taken in just by looks alone. Naturally as a consumer we are pulled towards those objects that are pleasing to the eye. However, once the initial attraction wears off you will soon be facing an appliance that is rusty and leaking.

The consumer will be better of having a reliable ten year guarantee rather than settling for a quick cheap bargain. It is understandable that the consumer will be concerned about their budget, however long-term quality assurance will be worth paying for.

As an installer you would like to think that once you have done your job, that is it. No one likes to be called back when a customer complains about a faulty appliance. You would much rather look forward to getting referrals to new customers from a satisfied client. You must remember that no matter how good you are at your job, if your product lets you down, then that can change everything. Remember people are more susceptible to remembering unhappy experiences rather than happy ones.

Some items you can get away with for not being high quality. Not so with a towel warmer. This is because a towel warmer needs to be of high quality even when its not switched on. You will be placing damp towels on the towel warmer on a regular basis and the towel warmer will also be exposed to steam from the bath and showers. This is why the basic construction should be of a high standard to avoid you facing problems afterwards.

It should also be noted that not all the radiators are the same, and you cannot turn a horizontal model on its side and call it vertical. This would not be a good solution. If a radiator is initially manufactured as a vertical model it will give better heat performance and will last in better condition in the long term.

Finally it can be said that before the consumer makes any decisions regarding purchasing items, they should always make the quality of the product their top priority. - 30517
